THE SMART AND QUIET REVOLUTION IN ONBOARD DESALINATION

The first modular and intelligent marine watermaker that runs on the electrical power consumption of a smartphone.
The AguA watermaker is designed to desalinate seawater efficiently and economically, ensuring optimal onboard fresh water management and supply, reducing maintenance costs and guaranteeing simple, effective operation.
Hourly output varies according to the combination of modular vessels used, from 90 L/h to 360 L/h. Perfect for satisfying even the most demanding captains and crews, so fresh water on board is never a problem again.

WHY AGUA?

AguA is an innovative watermaker designed through the synergy of engineers and captains to be easy to use, reliable, energy-saving, more comfortable on board and able to guarantee fresh water at all times.
Thanks to PressureFlowControl® technology, it keeps system pressure constant without draining onboard batteries or requiring noisy electric generators.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

AguA is designed to simplify water desalination.
The system takes power from the boat engine while underway and, through a high-pressure pump and a software-managed electromagnetic clutch, sends seawater into reverse osmosis membranes that produce fresh water.
The electronic PFC® valve automatically regulates pressure, ensuring maximum efficiency, reliability and ease of use.

PFC® VALVE
Patent pending

Thanks to its built-in intelligence in a powerful microprocessor, the valve prevents damage to the osmosis membranes and optimizes system efficiency by increasing fresh water production while reducing energy consumption.

CONTROL PANEL

A simple waterproof illuminated button switches the system on and off, showing its operating status by color.
In addition to the control button, the watermaker can be monitored and managed via the dedicated app on a smartphone, tablet or onboard chartplotter.

PressureFlowControl® TECHNOLOGY

In traditional systems, pressure varies between 30 and 110 bar, reducing efficiency and damaging the osmosis membranes.
AguA's PFC® mechatronic valve constantly maintains 60 bar, optimizing membrane performance and extending system life.

MODULAR AGUA SYSTEM

Adaptable to any boat, large or small. The vessels can be mounted together, making the system modular and compact.
The vessel lengths can be chosen as 500 mm or 1000 mm according to the space available on board and the amount of desalinated water production needed per hour.
The watermaker is fully automatic, requires no interventions or adjustments to operate, and can also be installed in positions that are not normally accessible.

SMART MONITORING

Connect to the simulation

In addition to the ease of use of a single illuminated control button for switching on, off and checking status, the watermaker can also be monitored and managed by connecting via Wi‑Fi and the dedicated app installed on a smartphone or on modern onboard chartplotters.
With the app, besides controlling the watermaker with a virtual button identical to the physical one, you can view operating parameters: quantity of water produced, water quality and pressure.
You can set an operating timer or a target amount of water to be produced, view history, scheduled maintenance and configurations.

FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

It depends on the type of system and the type of boat engine; on average, an AguA watermaker can be installed in a single day.

The AguA watermaker can be installed on any type of boat with an inboard engine.

On average, the membrane can produce desalinated water for 1,500 production hours, equivalent to about 300,000 liters.

You can run the watermaker whenever the boat engine is on.
Naturally, it is preferable while underway to optimize fuel costs and avoid extra noise, but the watermaker can also run with the engine idling and in neutral.

To start the watermaker, simply press an illuminated button that, depending on its color, indicates correct system operation.
If you then want to view operating parameters, produced water, water quality, pressure, history, scheduled maintenance, etc., you can connect via Wi‑Fi and the dedicated app installed on a smartphone or modern onboard chartplotters.

The high-pressure pump, for the 180 L/h system, uses about 2 hp from the boat engine and does not significantly affect boat performance, which normally has a power margin in the engine/propeller pitch pairing.

Thanks to IoT connectivity, you can monitor and control the system directly from the mobile app or from the onboard chartplotter.
